I've had the aquarium for almost 6 months and it has yet to cease being a marvel to me. Watching the fish swim and eat are the most simplistic joys imaginable... rather like watching a new baby sleep.
This fish shown below has me on watch. The fish stays hidden in this corner most of the time and doesn't come out for feeding. Upon closer inspection I noticed the "Adam's apple" looking protrusion beneath the mouth. Could it be? Is this fish carrying eggs or fry in her mouth? Only time will tell. The bottom photo shows the bulge in a more pronounced way.
But please, don't start calling me Grandma!!
